Representative Offices and Liaison Office

In the middle of the past decade Bank of Cyprus (BOC) decided to extent its presence abroad by establishing Representative Offices (Rep. Offices).

Initially, the Bank established Rep.Offices in countries where there was a Greek and Cypriot community in order to serve that community but later on it also established Rep. Offices where there was a need to serve international business.

Nowadays, the Bank has Rep. Offices in Toronto (Canada), Moscow, St Petersburg,  Yekaterinburg and Samara(Russia), Johannesburg (South Africa) and Kiev (Ukraine) and a Liaison Office in Bucharest (Romania).

The Rep. Offices and the Liaison Office assist existing and new customers in various ways. Among others, they provide to customers all information needed regarding the Group and liaise between customers and the branches of our Banks. Additionally, they verify passport copies, as "true copies", and specimen signatures.
