Use the app on your phone to open your first account with us - no need to visit a bank branch. It’s fast, straightforward and secure.
On registering you’ll receive the following:
- An e-Instant account, immediately available to conduct your transactions through
- A Mastercard Classic Debit card, linked to your e-Instant account
- Subscription to 1bank for your online transactions; set your own passcode
It’s geared at private individuals aged 18 and over. Once you open an online account you can access and use it at any time – branch operating hours do not apply.
You’ll need to follow these few simple steps:

Download the BoC Mobile app and select register -
Authenticate your personal details by scanning your ID card or passport, and confirm by taking a live selfie

Accept the Terms & Conditions & create a six-digit Passcode for 1bank

Enter your financial details

Receive your new card, and connect to 1bank
