  • With the option Freeze/Unfreeze

    you can temporarily block it until you find it.

  • Available through BoC Mobile App / Internet Banking

    you can Freeze or Unfreeze your card whenever you want and for whatever reason.

  • The option of Freeze / Unfreeze card is available on BoC Mobile App in the "Cards" tab, under the "Card Management" section.

    It is also offered through Internet Banking, under the section Cards > Freeze.

    • In case you have lost your card and you want to temporarily block it it, instead of reporting it lost or stolen.
    • When you don’t use your card frequently and for security reasons you want to deactivate it.
    • When you use your card exclusively for your online payments and you wish to activate it only before each payment.
    • For any other reason
    • Cash withdrawals
    • Online and in-store payments (contactless or not)
    • Digital wallet payments, i.e Apple Pay and Google Pay
    • Card subscriptions (e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify)

     Direct Debits and Standing Orders will not be affected.
