IDEA Innovation Center
Overview
IDEA Innovation Center, established in 2015 by the Bank of Cyprus and other esteemed partners, is the largest non-profit incubator-accelerator for startups in Cyprus. It serves as a key entrepreneurship hub, supporting innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and fostering a culture of giving back, sharing, and volunteering.

In 2025…
In 2025, IDEA celebrated a milestone that reflected not just the passage of time, but the power of vision: A Decade of IDEA — ten remarkable years of turning ideas into reality and shaping the innovation landscape across Cyprus. The anniversary was marked with a special celebration held in the courtyard of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, bringing together partners, startup representatives, mentors, and friends of IDEA in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.
2025 was also the year the Center introduced the landmark Strong Minds, Strong Startups mental‑fitness initiative, supporting founders in staying strong and focused throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
The innovative businesses brought to life focused on the fields of energy efficiency and green technology, sustainability for healthcare, health tech, board‑game, and business‑operations platforms, through its startups: Sequela, Electra, MammoCheck, Essendel (Maxi Sto Gipedo), and Zuki.
