We support the operation of the first online encyclopedia in Cyprus polignosi.com. This is a long-term project that started in 2017 in collaboration with the newspaper "Politis". Polignosi.com is constantly growing and becoming a point of reference for thousands of Cypriots, with a readership in Greece and the expat communities in the UK and USA.

Discover in it, among other things, the dictionary of the Cypriot dialect, tributes to history and culture and presentations of events. The Encyclopedia supports the modern needs of Cypriot school and encourages distance learning for young and old.

It has as its main body the content of the "Great Cypriot Encyclopedia" of the "Filokypros" publishing company. For the new and upgraded needs of the society, its material has been completely revised, updated and enriched with new entries and photographic material to make it a unique and reliable database of history, geography, folklore, economy and culture of Cyprus.

An important source of information is the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation with subjects and photographic material of the period from the end of the 19th century to the 20th century.

The Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth has recognized the educational value of the project, stating that "The online encyclopedia can be a useful information, learning and research tool for students of Cyprus and can be used to acquire 21st century skills".
