DATA CONSENT DECLARATION

With this Data Consent Declaration, I consent, under my capacity as the holder of parental responsibility over the User, to the processing of the User’s Personal Data (as the term is defined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation, (EU) 2016/679, the ‘GDPR’) and I acknowledge that:

The Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited, with registration number HE 165, having its registered office at Stasinou 51, Ayia Paraskevi, Strovolos 2002, Nicosia, Cyprus (the ‘Bank’), needs to collect certain data (name, ID country, ID type, ID number, date of birth, mobile number, email, gender, photo -if uploaded-, IP address, application log data, the User’s mobile contacts -if the account to account payment feature is offered and enabled-, payment details and other data collected in relation to the usage of the Joey app) of the junior who will be given access to the Joey (the ‘User’), in order to properly provide the Joey, the relevant features/functionality and communication relevant to Joey, as well as for the purpose of improving the Joey service.

The Bank, as the Controller of the User’s Personal Data, is committed to protect the User’s privacy and handle the User’s Personal Data in an open and transparent manner and always in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and with the Bank’s Privacy Statement which provides further details on how the Bank processes Personal Data and which is available at the Bank’s branches and online at https://bankofcyprus.com/engb/contact_us/privacy-notice/ and the contents of which I have carefully read and understood.

The Personal Data of the User may be shared with third parties as explained in the Bank’s Privacy Statement. Also, once the account to account payment feature is offered and enabled, third persons, including the parents/legal guardians of other users of Joey may be allowed to view the User’s Personal Data ( first name, last name, mobile number, request/transfer description, request/transfer images, profile image) where needed for the purposes of sending money to/receiving money from the Joey Sight Account of the User.

I reserve the right to withdraw my consent at any time by choosing 'Close Joey' in the User settings within the Joey section of my BoC mobile application. By closing Joey for a specific User, this consent is automatically withdrawn. Without this consent, we cannot continue to operate the Joey for the specific User and therefore, the relevant Joey Terms and Conditions, the access to the Joey Αpp and the Joey Αccount(s) will be 2 terminated and the Joey Card will be deactivated. Any withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn or revoked.

I undertake to inform the User of the content of this Data Consent Declaration.

I understand that the combination of my User ID and Passcode, which constitute my identity verification by the Bank, is deemed equivalent to my signature and will be perceived by the Bank as entered by me personally and will have the same result and effect as the signature under my own hand.
