The Shipping Centre at the 2022 Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition

The 2022 Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition, taking place in Athens from 6 to 10 June, was a success, drawing a large crowd of ship-owners from across the world. The premises of the Athens Metropolitan Expo saw over 1,900 companies from 88 countries exhibiting their products and services.

Bank of Cyprus made its mark at the 2022 expo by hosting a reception on June 2. The event was attended by clients, associates and prominent executives in Greek and Cypriot shipping. Addressing the guests, Bank of Cyprus Group CEO Panicos Nicolaou said that shipping is important to Greece and Cyprus, and that the Bank's Shipping Centre has set ambitious and long-term objectives.

Also attending and speaking at the event were Chairman of the Board Takis Arapoglou, Director of Large & International Corporate Banking Michalis Athanasiou, and the head of the Shipping Centre Nicholas Pavlides.
