  • Click to Pay is a fast and convenient way to make online payments, allowing you to complete your transactions easily without entering your card details every time.

    You can enrol to the service through Internet Banking and create your profile. Once set up, you can complete your purchases in just a few clicks wherever you see the Click to Pay icon at participating online merchants.

    Eligibility

    Click to Pay is available to all individuals Bank of Cyprus Visa cardholders (aged 18 and over) who are 1bank subscribers.

    How to enrol

    • The cardholder can enrol to the service through Internet Banking
    • Enrolment is completed separately for each Visa card
    • Confirmation of email address and a valid mobile phone number is required
    • The cardholder must accept the Terms and Conditions and the Data Consent

    Fees

    The service is provided free of charge to Bank of Cyprus Visa cardholders.

     

    Eligible Cards

    The following cards can be registered:

    • Visa Debit cards
    • Visa Credit cards
    • Visa Prepaid cards

    How to Use Click to Pay at Checkout

    1. Select your product on the merchant’s website and proceed to checkout.
    2. At checkout, choose Click to Pay as your payment method (where available).
    3. Confirm your payment using the six-digit One-Time Passcode (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email. Both codes are valid, so you can use either one to complete the verification.
    4. Select the card you wish to use, if you have added more than one card to Click to Pay - no need to re-enter your details.
    5. Approve your payment using one of the available online authentication methods:
      • Push notification via the Bank of Cyprus mobile app
      • One-time passcode (OTP) sent to your mobile phone in combination with your Internet/Mobile Banking (1bank) credentials
    6. Complete your transaction securely.
  • No action is required from the customer, as the service will continue to operate normally.

  • Yes. It is based on the EMV Secure Remote Commerce standard, incorporating advanced encryption and additional security controls. Your actual card details are not shared with merchants.

  • No. Your card details are stored securely and are automatically displayed at checkout before completing the transaction.

  • You can update your contact details with the Bank through the BoC Mobile App.

    Your new details will be automatically updated in the Click to Pay service, and no further action is required from your side.

  • Yes. You can remove (opt out) your card at any time through 1bank.

  • For the operation of the service:

    • Necessary information (e.g. card details, email, mobile number) is shared with Visa
    • Data is securely stored within Visa’s infrastructure in accordance with applicable legislation

    The Bank ensures that:

    • Data is used exclusively for the purposes of providing the service
    • Strict personal data protection measures are in place
    • Cardholder name

    • Cardholder email address

    • Cardholder mobile phone number

    • Cardholder billing address

    • Card number

    • Card expiration date

    • Card type

    • Name of the Bank issuing the card
