Account Security 

Keep your accounts safe by following these essential tips: 

  • Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Add an extra layer of security to your accounts by enabling MFA wherever possible. 
  • Activate Alerts: Set up email or SMS notifications for any activity on your banking accounts to quickly identify suspicious activities. 
  • Monitor Transactions: Regularly review and reconcile your transaction history to ensure all transactions are recognized. 
  • Log Out: Always log out of your online banking account after completing your activities, especially when using shared devices. 
  • Update Contact Information: Ensure your contact information is always up to date. This will allow us to quickly notify you in case of suspicious activity. 
  • Report Suspicious Activities: If you receive a notification about banking activities you do not recognize, contact the Bank's call center on 800 00 800 or +357 22 128000 if calling from abroad immediately, or report it to our abuse department at info@bankofcyprus.com and abuse@bankofcyprus.com.
