What you will actually do:
- Design, implement, operate, monitor, maintain and continuously improve the Bank's enterprise network infrastructure, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network technologies, including configuration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, upgrades, patching, hardware refresh, vendor support coordination, and timely resolution of network incidents and service disruptions.
- Implement and maintain secure network architectures and controls, including network segmentation, load balancers, VPNs, secure remote access solutions, NAC, and network infrastructure hardening.
- Drive network modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging networking technologies and utilization of AI.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and availability, performing root cause analysis, fault diagnosis, traffic analysis, capacity management, and implementing corrective actions to maintain service levels and operational resilience.

🎓 Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in the above subjects is an advantage.
💼 Experience
- 5+ years of experience in related Managerial roles.
- Experience in enterprise network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or ICT operations within a complex, highly available environment.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and SD-WAN.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and network security controls.
- Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, capacity planning, and root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting business-critical, customer-facing, and multi-site enterprise environments, including disaster recovery and resilience testing.
🖥️Technologies
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of load balancers, proxy, and firewalls.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (i.e. SolarWinds) for functions like performance monitoring and fault management.
- Knowledge of security protocols and technologies like NAC, RADIUS and TACACS
- Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible and Terraform) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Cisco ACI technologies is an advantage.
➕ Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
- Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Other vendor specific certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE)
