Data & Report Quality Analyst (Ref. 612)

We are seeking to recruit a passionate Data Analyst to join our Data team.

You will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to work on a variety of exciting projects, playing a key role in the data initiatives within the Bank. You will participate in the full cycle of data exploration, quality assessment and improvement, as well as use in Reports. You will work closely with Engineers, Business Users, other teams, and vendors.

    • Develop (via coding) Data Quality Measurements by implementing Business Analysis requirements.
    • Develop and generate metrices/KPIs for the Bank’s Data & Report Quality for the Bank’s senior management.
    • Design and publish dashboards using data visualization tools.
    • Coordinate working groups for data initiatives.
    • Familiarize with relevant regulations and bank’s data policies and procedures and develop processes/reports to check compliance.
    • Further enhance the Data Governance and the Data Quality software solutions and train end-users.
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related field.
    • Master’s degree in any of the above subjects will be considered as an advantage.
    • Experience and in-depth knowledge in relational databases / SQL queries.
    • Experience in a similar position in the financial services industry will be considered as an advantage.
    • Experience and knowledge in the following will be considered as additional advantage:
      • Advanced programming skills with SQL, and knowledge of SAS is desirable.
      • Data exploration, reporting, visualization, and analytics tools such as Power BI, SAS tools, Business Objects.
      • Data management & lifecycle processes (data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloguing, data warehousing & ETL processes, data integration, business rules management, etc.)
      • Familiarity with workflow development (via Groovy, Eclipse), integration technologies, cloud platforms.
      • Familiarity with machine learning / Artificial intelligence for data cleansing
    • Structured and Critical Thinking.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Team player and ability to think through solutions with others.
    • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
    • Ability to manage time, workload, and multiple tasks.
    • Self-driven, ability to take initiatives and make decisions.
    • Ability to analyze and understand business needs, assess, prioritize and communicate to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek & English.
