Strategy & Corporate Finance Advisor (Κωδ. 863)

Do you have passion for strategic nuances of current financial affairs? We are looking for a Strategy & Corporate Finance Advisor to join our Finance Division.

The successful candidate will be part in analyzing Management’s strategic initiatives and being part in Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) projects, including preparing and submitting recommendations to management, in line with the Group’s overall strategic plan.

    • In-depth analysis of important data, financial and market information to develop financial models for strategic initiatives.
    • Supports management in strategic decisions by presenting key deliverables, including impacts, and recommendations with the aim of properly and as fully as possible informing the decision-making process.
    • Organises, directs, and oversees the full M&A lifecycle, including conducting Due Diligence procedures, through detailed financial modelling with aim of ensuring smooth execution and completion of the project within the timeframe set.
    • Assesses and evaluates the terms of the M&A contracts in cooperation with legal advisors with aim to successfully conclude the transaction, safeguarding the Bank’s interests.
    • Performing valuations, including reviewing and identifying key assumptions.
    • Evaluates the strategic plan of the Group ensuring that assumptions are reflective of future strategic decisions and coordinates and aligns the presentation to the management and the board aligning all business units with the strategic objectives of the Group.
    • Regularly assesses the performance of the Group against plan, understanding the drivers of performance.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Post – graduate degree in areas related to Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other related fields
    • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CFA
    • At least 3 years of experience in analysing financial information
    • At least 1 year of experience in corporate finance or strategy
    • Financial services experience will be considered as an advantage
    • Analyse and synthesize financial information in a concise and meaningful form
    • Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and curiosity
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills
    • Excellent understanding of issues related to the financial service industry, financial analysis, and new market trends
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, including negotiation skills
    • Thoughtful, empathetic with excellent teamwork skills
    • Enthusiastic about work and ability to carry out multiple tasks under pressure and within short deadlines
    • Ability to take initiatives and make decisions
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
    • Sound financial modelling skills
    • Delivering a consistently high quality of the work and ideas
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
