With the message "it's so...cool to recycle", the Bank of Cyprus's specially designed van treated young and old to ice cream with the unique condition of recycling their plastic cups and bottles.

On the weekend of July 1st and 2nd, at Fig Tree Beach in Protaras, hundreds of holidaymakers rushed to the recycling bins to put their plastic cups and bottles, thus taking an important step towards keeping our beaches clean. Afterwards, the Bank of Cyprus van served them ice cream. 

This action is part of the environmental strategy of the Bank of Cyprus as well as the campaign of the new visa debit card, made from plastic recovered from the seas.

The goal is to raise awareness for the protection of the environment to become the daily habit for all of us.
