Officer Financial Reporting - Eurolife (Κωδ. 641)

We are looking for talented accountants for the role of Officer Reporting at Eurolife, a subsidiary of Bank of Cyprus and the leading life insurance company in Cyprus.

The successful applicant will have excellent analytical and reporting skills and experience in audit of financial industries.

    • Financial Statements/ Reporting (Financial, Management, Statutory)
      • Participates in the preparation of the Financial Statements for the Company and its subsidiary.
      • Participates in the preparation of the montly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports required for internal and external purposes
      • Participates in the preparation of supervisory reports in accordance with Insurance Laws and Regulations
      • Liaise with external auditors and regulator on all findings & questions.
    • Financial Strategy
      • Represents the Accounting Function in meetings with other departments and ensures that the decisions take into account the accounting impact.
      • Participates in Company-wide profitability studies/analyses
      • Analyses financial results of competitors
      • Participates in all tasks required for the preparation of the Company Budget.
    • Αccounting
      • Coordinates and checks the correct and timely recording of accounting activities.
      • Keep accounting policies and procedures duly updated.
      • Improve and automate internal processes & efficiency in general.
    • Tax issues
      • Tax income computation
      • Preparation of Tax Statements
    • Bachelor’s Degree or post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field from an accredited university.
    • Professional accounting qualification (i.e. ACA, ACCA).
    • 3 - 4 years professional experience in financial industries sector.
    • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards.
    • Knowledge of IFRS 17 will be considered as an advantage.
    • Insurance business knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
    • Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a strong affinity to IT.
